"Bollywood" Survival 101

I survived Dabanng today. For the uninitiated, Dabanng is one of those movies that the common crowd in India associates Bollywood with.

Some other movies in this genre include; Wanted, Dum, and a plethora of Rajnikant and Govinda movies.

No person in their right mind would opt to go for such a movie. I went because otherwise my dad would have to go alone.

So here are some tips for the people who might find themselves in the same predicament as me:

1. Leave your brains at home.

2. You might as well leave your common sense with it while you are leaving your brains behind.

3. Forget whatever you’ve learnt in physics especially about gravity.

4. Do not even think of drawing comparisons with intelligent film makers: you’ll end up depressing yourself.

5. Learn how to whistle or carry one if you want to be a part of the crowd.

6. Remember, if you pray to God, God will be kind enough to make sure you don’t have nightmares about the movie.

Last but not the least, if you see yourself getting stuck in such a situation again, RUN as fast as you can in the opposite direction!!!
